OK.....please forgive me, but what is a vector illustration? Your image is beautiful.
A vector illustration is something created in the program Illustrator. Adobe Illustrator files can be scaled up and never lose quality. It relies on mathematical information rather than pixels. I originally drew this then scanned it in, and traced it in Illustrator.
